The ACG Cup® is a case study competition designed to give students from leading MBA programs across the country real world experience and invaluable insights into mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity. This year, students gathered at California Lutheran University to pitch their business ideas to a panel of expertise. Each case study provides students with a unique opportunity to present valuation, capital markets and M&A strategic advice to a panel of seasoned M&A professionals from within the ACG community. The competition is carried out through a series of intra-school and regional competitions, with regional winners awarded the prestigious ACG Cup title and cash awards. Over $200,000 in scholarship and awards are distributed annually across the country.

Dr. Gerhard Apfelthaler, Dean, Cal Lutheran's School of Management, says "The ACG Cup is a wonderful experiential learning activity for our students. Not only do they get a chance to apply their knowledge, but they are also getting a glimpse into the real world of M&A through the interaction with ACG's experienced judges."

ACG 101 Congratulates this year's winning team, pictured above, and wishes them all the best as they move on to the March 6th finals at the University of California, Irvine.
