ACG Connecticut welcomes leaders from our membership to join our various committees. Volunteering helps you enhance your profile in the community and influence the direction of the organization and its programs. By being part of a committee, you have a unique opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers on a deeper level, resulting in strong and long lasting relationships.

Committees:

Membership: Welcome and engage new and current members to help nurture and connect our member community.
Sponsorship: Grow revenue in this area to plan top-notch events and keep registration fees low
Programs: Solicit and secure speakers for our monthly breakfast series
Hartford Initiatives: Expand ACG CT's presence in the Hartford region
Young ACG CT Initiatives: Plan programs and events for young professionals, grow membership
Private Equity: Expand ACG CT's presence in PE
Finance: Assist the Treasurer
Communications/Marketing: Social Media, Press Releases and expanding ACG CT's marketing efforts

Requirements

The success of these committees is highly dependent upon the full participation of its members. To that end, we require of our committee members:

Must be an active member of ACG Connecticut
Willingness to be assigned and to lead initiatives by the Chair
Participation in committee meetings or calls
Be goal driven in helping ACG Connecticut grow and thrive in the M&A community
