Sheryl Hunter is the founder and President of Hunter Business Law, The Entrepreneur’s Law Firm®, with offices in Tampa and St. Petersburg. For over 20 years Sheryl has worked with hundreds of growth-focused entrepreneurs and their business enterprises, from start-up to exit. Many of these clients have embarked on developing businesses related to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Rebecca G. DiStefano serves on the firm's Blockchain Task Force and concentrates her practice in the areas of securities regulation, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions law. Rebecca counsels public and private companies in areas including private placements, registrations, and crowdfunding under the JOBS Act of 2012 and the Securities Act of 1933, continuing disclosure requirements of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, initial and continued listing of securities on the stock exchanges and electronic quotation systems and the creation and organization of non-U.S. regulated investment vehicles including private equity funds and hybrid funds. Rebecca regularly represents clients before government agencies and SROs including the Securities and Exchange Commission and FINRA.  She recently co-authored “Market Trends: Blockchain Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) – Risks, Regulations, and Riches” for Lexis Practice Advisor.

Jeremy Rasmussen is Chief Technology Officer of Abacode, a Tampa, Florida based company that provides managed cybersecurity services for growing businesses across all industries. Abacode employs global thought leaders and industry experts in ethical hacking, corporate governance, and incident response to provide its clients with a holistic view of cybersecurity.  He is also an instructor at the University of South Florida and founder of the USF Whitehatters Computer Security Club (WCSC). Since 2000, he has taught USF courses in cryptography and network security, ethical hacking, digital forensics & investigations, and mobile & wireless security.  He has more than 25 years of experience in performing R&D and developing cybersecurity solutions for government and commercial customers.  Jeremy is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Project Management Professional (PMP). He was named the 2017 Tampa Bay Technology Leader of the Year.

Michael O’Rourke is a software developer and entrepreneur. Before going full time on Ethereum blockchain development Michael was a professional iOS developer for three years. He has built several social networks that have touched tens of thousands of users. Michael has also been deeply involved in the cryptocurrency space since 2013. Currently, Michael is building Pocket Network - a developer tool platform that makes it easier to build peer to peer applications using cryptocurrency.

Mitchell is the partner-in-charge of Aprio’s Technology and Blockchain group. He works with businesses from startup to exit to maximize their potential at each stage, bringing innovative tax strategies that help companies increase profitability. His expertise covers everything from complex tax regulations to equity incentives. With the emergence of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, Mitchell has been instrumental in developing and leading Aprio’s blockchain practice. He focuses on domestic and international-related tax issues for technology and blockchain companies.
