Alan Fullerton has been an investment banker to large corporations, middle-market firms and family-owned firms since 1997. Before joining Mirus, he was Managing Director in the investment banking group of Newbury Piret, a regional firm, where he led and managed dozens of M&A and financing transactions in a variety of industries.

Alan is senior advisor to management teams and business owners with significant experience in arranging equity financings ($5 million to $100 million) and executing buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates. Alan has been a sector finalist for several national M&A Advisor Awards for his transactions in industrial services, healthcare, consumer products, business services, travel services, and highly engineered industrial products, including for deals closed with Fortune 500 and Global 500 corporations, private equity-backed companies, closely-held businesses, and middle-market publicly traded companies.

In addition, his advisory experience includes fairness opinions for venture-backed and publicly traded companies; he is a member of the Mirus fairness opinion committee, a position he also held at his previous firm.

Before his investment banking career, he was a member of technical staff and project leader with the 2500-person engineering consulting firm TASC. During his tenure with TASC, he was a project leader on strategic planning, engineering, operations and policy engagements.

Alan holds a BS from M.I.T. in Mechanical Engineering, an MS from Brown University in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA from the Ecole des Ponts of Paris, France. He holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 certifications from FINRA.

Alan lives in Lexington, Massachusetts with his wife, son and two daughters. In his spare time, Alan enjoys reading, traveling and playing games with his kids.

Jon Lemelman joined Riverside Partners in 2004 and manages the firm’s intermediary relationships and new investment evaluation. He has over 15 years of experience in Private Equity, Software and Financial Services and has worked closely with numerous middle market companies.

Prior to joining Riverside, Jon was an investment professional at Fidelity Strategic Investments, the private equity investment division of Fidelity Investments, where he worked on investments in the software, manufacturing and healthcare industries.

Previously, he was the Director of Business Development at Reciprocal, Inc., an enterprise software company that was acquired by Microsoft in 2001. From 1995 to 1999, Jon was a Vice President in Fidelity Investments’ Institutional Services Company.

Jon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with distinction, from Emory University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tim Porter is a principal at Audax Private Equity, a middle market private equity firm based in Boston. Prior to Audax, Tim worked at L.E.K. Consulting.  He received a A.B. in history from Duke University. He lives in Boston with his wife, Liz, and daughter, Isabel.

Audax Private Equity is solely focused on building leading middle market companies. Since inception, Audax Private Equity has invested $4.5 billion in over 110 platform investments and over 650 add-on acquisitions. Since joining Gemini in 2000, Jimmy has been actively involved in investing the firm’s four most recent funds during which time Gemini has completed over 100 transactions. He has played a lead role in over 25 of these investments and has served on the Board of Directors of over 20 Gemini portfolio companies. In addition to the expertise he has developed in the education and waste industries, he has also led investments in software, manufacturing and distribution. Prior to joining Gemini, Jimmy was a Senior Associate at Citizens Energy where he concentrated on business development initiatives. He began his career as an Analyst in the investment banking group at J.P. Morgan, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for consumer businesses. Jimmy holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College.

Nick Scola focuses on healthcare and business services investments for H.I.G. Growth Partners and is responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring transactions. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Community Intervention Services, Just Home Healthcare Services, and Fidelity Payment Services.

Prior to joining H.I.G. Growth Partners, Nick spent seven years at Capital Resource Partners (CRP), a Boston-based private equity firm that specializes in hybrid debt and equity growth financing solutions for lower middle-market companies. Most recently, Nick was a Partner at CRP and was responsible for leading the firm's investment efforts in the healthcare and consumer verticals. In this role, Nick sourced, executed and managed multiple investments across the healthcare services, healthcare IT, medical device and branded consumer products sectors. He served on the board of a number of portfolio companies, including MedMark Services, Revenue Cycle Solutions, Gamma Medica, Ganeden Biotech, Solis Women's Health and The Art of Shaving.

Previously, Nick spent three years at Broadview International, a boutique investment bank focused on mergers and acquisitions across all sectors of technology. While there, he completed numerous M&A transactions across a range of industries and was a founding member of the firm's healthcare technology practice group.

Nick received his B.A. in Economics from Tufts University.
