Join us on Wednesday, April 16th for our monthly lunch in Austin. Our featured speaker will be Bret Biggart, CEO of Freedom Solar Power, and this event is sponsored by Malabar Hill Capital. Due to a request for more networking time, we’ll be starting this event @ 11:15AM at Westwood Country Club - 3808 W 35th Street, Austin, TX 78703. Networking will be from 11:15AM-12Noon, and the lunch program will be from 12Noon-1PM. You are welcome to stay and continue networking from 1PM-1:30PM.

Early Bird Reg. Rates available through Wednesday, April 9th: ACG Members @ $60./Non-Members @ $95. Late Registration Rates begin on Thursday, April 10th thru 5PM on Tuesday, April 15th (or until we sell out): ACG Members @ $70./Non-Members @ $105.

Location: Westwood Country Club, located @ 3808 West 35th Street, Austin, 78703. Free parking is limited, but available onsite & our lunch will be in Club’s building by the pool. We recommend arriving early for best parking availability.

Attire: Business or Business Casual. 

Dietary Restrictions - While some dietary restrictions are based on medical conditions, allergies, or religious convictions that must be strictly observed, others may be based on personal preferences. It's important to differentiate between the two to ensure we address everyone's needs appropriately. Please ensure any dietary requests that are submitted are based on restrictions and not preferences.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations received in writing to acgasa@acg.org by Wednesday, April 9th will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received after Wed. April 9th. If you are an ACG Member unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person for this same event. If the person attending in your place is not an ACG Member, they will need to pay an additional fee to bring them up to the non-member rate to attend.   

ACG Austin/San Antonio reserves the right to fill open seats at the respective event venues once the networking period has passed and the official event programming has begun. In rare instances this could mean that registered attendees arriving late will not have a seat readily available upon their arrival. In these instances ACG Austin/San Antonio will work to accommodate the attendee, and if not able to do so to the attendee's satisfaction, ACG Austin/San Antonio will refund their registration fee.

Your registration for this event acts as an audio/video release and includes your permission for ACG Austin/San Antonio to use your image and comments captured on audio, video or photographic formats while attending the event for marketing and promotional purposes.

Bret Biggart

Freedom Solar Power
CEO

Bret Biggart serves as Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Solar Power and is responsible for daily operations as well as the company’s growth and financing strategies. Since 2011, Bret has played an integral role in Freedom Solar’s expansion across both commercial and residential solar markets in Texas as well as in other states. During his tenure, Freedom Solar has become the 10th largest solar company in America with over 450 employees. He is most proud of the culture at Freedom Solar, which has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Austin for two years running.

Previously, Bret Biggart served as Director of Business Development for the Austin-based asset management firm WaterStreet Investment Consultants with a concentration in alternative investments. Prior to that, Bret was Vice President of Business Development at Saracen Energy Advisors, where he managed investor relations with prior, current, and prospective investors representing over $1.4 billion in assets under management. Before Saracen, his investment background consisted of over four years with two private equity firms.


Bret received an MBA from the Jones School of Business at Rice University and graduated with a BA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Bret was named Winner of EY’s 2023 Entrepreneur Of The Year® Gulf South Award, as well as a 2024 Best CEO by Austin Business Journal.
