As Partner of HealthEdge, Matt is responsible for deal origination, managing due diligence, financing, transaction documentation, portfolio oversight and management, and fundraising and investor relations.

Before joining the firm, Matt served as CFO for IT Authorities, Inc. and Hire Velocity, LLC. He also held the CFO position at Lion Investments. Matt started his career with Kindred Healthcare, a Fortune 500 company in the long-term healthcare industry, which included three years as a hospital CFO in the Tampa Bay area.

Matt currently serves on the Board of Directors of Legacy-Xspire, iTrac, and Westone Laboratories, along with the Tampa Bay chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Matt holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Louisville and received his M.B.A. from the University of Tampa. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his wife, Jamie, and their children: Nate, Clara, Wesley, and Jeremy.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health, Joe Delatorre has been responsible for running all facets of the business since its inception in 1993. Joe has a proven executive management track record driving business and growth for the clinic, which has partnered with Orlando Health, with over 500 providers.  Prior to joining Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health, Joe was the Chief Executive Officer of Humana Woman’s Hospital of Tampa responsible for all business and operational activities. At Humana Woman’s he led the facility into an enterprise-focused hospital while growing obstetric deliveries to over 6,000 deliveries per year. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Humana Hospital Pasco where he was recognized for his work in physician leadership and development, quality of care improvement, and strategic operations.

Throughout his 32-year tenure with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health, Joe has built a reputation for embracing the core values of integrity, innovation, and growth. He is responsible for developing business strategies, incubating business models, and growing revenue annually to over $300 million. He also developed the business model for growth opportunities, helping to grow new facilities into over seventy locations. 

Joe serves on the Board of Directors of Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Health Sciences from the University of Florida.

Joe lives in Wesley Chapel with his wife of 41 years, Kelley. They have two grown daughters, Stephanie and Shannon and two grandchildren, Charlotte and Lincoln. Stephanie is an attorney in Atlanta, specializing in employment law.  Shannon earned her Master in music business from NYU, and works for Sony in New York, and lives in Tampa.  Joe enjoys boating and cycling, and he and Kelley enjoy spending time with their family, especially at their beach home on Anna Maria Island, Florida.

Reid's practice focuses on advising clients in connection with mergers & acquisitions and other corporate transactions, with a significant portion of his work involving clients in the healthcare industry. He represents clients in acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate financing and investment transactions, governance, and general corporate and business matters, including succession planning, equity-based compensation plans and commercial contracts. Reid regularly advises physician groups and other providers of healthcare services and products in corporate and transactional matters, as well as in certain regulatory matters, including Stark, state and federal anti-kickback laws, and state and federal licensing.   

Reid represents clients at all stages of their life-cycle, from formation and early-stage development, through growth and capital raising, add-on acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic transactions, and exit transactions. In addition to healthcare, he represents companies in diverse industries, including manufacturing and distribution, financial and business services, technology, real estate, restaurants and hospitality, and private utilities.

Richard Sacher has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting and serves as South Florida’s Health Care practice leader. His experience includes supervising and coordinating audits of publicly and privately held clients in a variety of industries, including audits of managed care organizations, biotech companies, distributors, and for-profit and not-for-profit health care providers ranging from standalone facilities to entire hospital systems. Sacher’s experience also includes SEC registrants, licensed HMOs, insurance companies and other regulated industries. Within these areas he has done in-depth work in audit, accounting, SOX-related services, registration statements, private placements, acquisition evaluations, and due diligence.
