September Connector: Emily Scala

RSM

Emily is a manager in RSM’s mergers and acquisitions tax services practice, and focuses on advising private equity groups, publicly traded and privately held companies with respect to tax implications of mergers, acquisitions and restructuring transactions. She has broad industry experience with a focus on healthcare and business and professional services. Emily has worked in public accounting for over 7 years, focused on private equity as well as mergers and acquisitions consulting.

September Connector: Joshua Gutter

Josh is a corporate attorney who represents public and private companies, including private equity funds. Mr. Gutter's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance and other general corporate and securities matters. He is also a certified public accountant.

During law school, Josh was selected as a Miami Public Interest Scholar and served as a member of the University of Miami Law Review. During his undergraduate career, he served as a Florida Cicerone, the official student ambassadors to the University of Florida. In addition, Mr. Gutter is an alumnus of AmeriCorps.
