Doug Chapin is the President and CEO of See Rock City, Inc., a company managing the iconic Rock City Gardens atop Lookout Mountain, just six miles from downtown Chattanooga. As a fifth-generation owner and fourth-generation leader, Chapin continues his ancestors' legacy, maintaining the garden's status as a major American attraction. Founded in May 1932, Rock City features massive ancient rock formations, gardens with over 400 native plant species, and panoramic views allowing visitors to "See 7 States." Its fame grew from the 1930s to the 1960s, thanks to over 900 barn advertisements painted across 19 states.
