Matt Sand

Matt Sand is the founder and President of Avalon Mfg, a manufacturing technology platform that can rapidly deploy end-to-end automation capabilities across a broad range of manufacturing processes and modalities. Avalon is building a next-generation fully automated machine shop in Compton, California. Prior to Avalon, Matt was co-founder and President of 3DEO, where he helped raise $90M in venture capital and become one of the highest volume metal 3D printing companies in the world. Matt earned his MBA from UCLA and a BS in Computer Science from Tulane University.
