Corporate Development - In House M&A Shop Talk | March 20, 2015

Join us for a small, targeted gathering of local corporate M&A professionals over lunch.  The purpose of this Lunch and Learn is to provide a closed forum to "talk shop" on what it means to be an in-house M&A practitioner.  The small format will also provide an excellent opportunity to network with corporate M&A professionals in a relaxed setting.

Program

The program will be structured to provide an opportunity to share best practices about executing M&A transactions as an insider.  Participants will be able to discuss some of the challenges they face in their roles by sharing war stories and best practices.  Discussions will be led by local corporate development professionals and will include such topics as:

•       How are corporate M&A functions organized?

•       What are efficient ways to structure a M&A process from acquisition strategy to sourcing to execution?

•       How do companies develop and nurture deal flow?

•       How do companies best address dynamic challenges such as doing deals in emerging markets or developing diligence capabilities in a new product/market area?
