The ACG Atlanta Emerging Leaders Committee will be hosting a luncheon on Tuesday, November 14th at the Slalom office at Ponce City Market from 11:30am – 1:30pm. Come and connect with fellow members within the ACG Atlanta network! Hear from emerging leaders and ACG members about their experiences in ACG and at M&A South.

Arriving to and accessing Slalom:

Paid parking is available in the 725 building deck (see below). There are 2 entrances which allow access to the deck (map below).

  • Park on level P1,P2 or P3 of the deck. Take the first set of deck elevators (3 on the left hand side) up to the building lobby.
  • Make a left out of the parking deck elevators towards the security desk.
  • Check in at the security desk. (identification required)
  • Security will grant you access through the gate and onto the next set of elevators -which will take you to the 5th floor.

If you are walking or being dropped off, enter the 725 Ponce building from  either the Plaza Level located on Ponce De Leon Pl NE or lobby level if entering from the belt line (up the concrete stairs to glass doors).

  • If entering from the Plaza Level, take the first set of elevators (3 directly ahead) up to the building lobby.
  • Make a left out of the elevators towards the security desk.
  • Check in at the security desk. (identification required)
  • Security will grant you access through the gate and onto the next set of elevators -which will take you to the 5th floor.

W. David Gorsline III joined The Lenox Group in 2017 as an analyst. David has over six years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance, advising companies and management teams on sell-side and buy-side transactions, debt and equity private placements, and management buyouts. Throughout his time at Lenox, David has executed numerous transactions across the industrials, healthcare, consumer, and business services industries. David also maintains an active role developing relationships with referral partners, private equity groups, and business owners across Lenox footprint.

David is a member of the Emerging Leaders Advisory Committee for the Association of Corporate Growth’s Atlanta Chapter and the Southern Capital Forum. In addition, David is a member of the Finance Committee for Trinity Community Ministries, a non-profit tackling homelessness across the Atlanta metro area. David is also a former member of the Young Professional’s Board for HOPE Atlanta, a non-profit addressing food insecurity and homelessness across Georgia.

David graduated cum-laude from Sewanee: The University of the South’s honors business program, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. At Sewanee, David was awarded the Carey Fellowship after completion of the Wm. Polks Business Program with distinction. As a Carey Fellow, David spent the second semester of his junior year in Charlotte, working full-time as an Analyst for Capitala Group, a lower-middle market private equity firm.

Relationship Manager, Middle Market C&I Group

Laura is a Relationship Manager in the Middle Market C&I group at Cadence Bank. Based in Atlanta, GA, she serves as a business partner and advisor to her clients across various commercial and industrial industries, as well as charter school development and management, to ensure her client needs are met with the appropriate products and services. She works with private equity firms and family-founder led businesses across the Atlanta and Charlotte markets to source, structure, and underwrite cash-flow lending transactions.

Prior to joining Cadence Bank, Laura spent 7 years at RSM, serving as a tax advisor to her clients, consulting on credits and incentives opportunities alongside tax implications. During her time at RSM, Laura was highly involved in campus recruiting and various employee network groups (ENGs). She also served a 2-year term as National Leader of Birdies Fore Love, RSM's national stewardship program, where she oversaw and coordinated efforts to raise over $2.8 million and $3.8 million, respectively, at the RSM Classic.

Laura now serves on the Board of Directors for ACG Atlanta and is the 2024 ACG Atlanta M&A South Chair. She recently concluded a 6-year tenure on the national Audit Committee for Sigma Kappa Sorority, and has previously served on the Board of the Ascend Southeast chapter, the largest Pan-Asian business professional organization in North America.

In her free time, Laura enjoys long walks with her dog Kemba, working out, cooking, reading, and hiking.
