Join ACG Boston for their signature monthly breakfast event -- the C-Series -- where New England's M&A community comes together to network and hear high caliber C-level executive speakers share their corporate growth stories.
Hear Andy Ory, Former CEO, President and Co-Founder of Acme Packet, at April's C-Series Breakfast speak to the sale of his first company and the acquisition of Acme Packet by Oracle for 2.1 billion in 2013.
Andy Ory is a founder of Acme Packet and served as president and CEO from its inception to its acquisition in March of 2013 by Oracle Corporation. During Andy’s 13-year tenure, he spearheaded Acme Packet’s growth from a young startup, pioneering a new product category and technology called session border control, to dominating that category and delivering session delivery networks. Prior to founding Acme Packet, Andy was the Founder, CEO and Chairman of Priority Call Management, which produced network-based solutions that allowed service providers to offer prepaid calling, enhanced messaging and one-number services.
He is also a co-founder of 12×12, an initiative sponsored by the Mass Tech Collaborative to multiply entrepreneurship in Massachusetts with the help of CEOs and VCs across the state. They are coming together to identify, enable, and mentor entrepreneurs who are creating the next generation of technology companies in Massachusetts. Andy holds an AB from Harvard College.
