Theresa Vargas Wyatt

Mucho Mas Media
Chief Media Growth Officer

Theresa Vargas Wyatt was first recognized on a community and regional level for consistently demonstrating how businesses of all sizes can drive growth by strategically building stronger relationships with Latinx consumers and minority-owned vendors. Her growing reputation for strategically impactful work in her home state of Texas eventually led to ties to our nation's capital, where she has long been a respected voice for lawmakers from both sides of the political aisle regarding cultural "blind spots" that continue to cause politicians to lose votes and corporations to lose revenue.

She has advised Fortune 100 brands, including Google, Target and AT&T, on go-to market strategies for new platforms targeted at the US English-speaking Latinx consumer. It's this dual passion for "societal change" and "corporate best practices" that eventually led her to El Rey Network and Vice Media, where she helped bring the two companies together around one simple notion: "The rising Latinx consumer voice is the new 'General Market' and can no longer be ignored.” In 2020 she stepped down to develop, lead and execute the channel acquisition. The channel was acquired in March 2021.

Currently she serves as Board Co-Chair for Mucho Mas Media, a multimedia company that empowers and supports inclusive stories, filmmakers, and talent. She is also a Strategic Advisor for funds, start-ups, innovation labs and community engagement & advocacy campaigns. Advising to reorganize and restructure to increase revenues strategically positioning businesses for acquisition.

Theresa served as a National Co-Chair of Latino Outreach for the Committee to Elect Hillary Clinton and was a Founding Member of the Latino Outreach effort of the 2012 reelection campaign of Barack Obama. Theresa has JD and MBA degrees from St. Mary's University and a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University. She resides with her two sons in Texas.
