Entrepreneurship and creativity are at the heart of solid business growth. That creativity can be especially important when considering funding options. Government and private business partnerships are one often overlooked avenue for achieving business growth. J Kevin McCurren with the Richard M and Helen DeVos Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Grand Valley State University and Fred Molnar with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation will shed light on the benefits and opportunities associated with these partnerships. They will discuss the resources available and help us to understand how they can be applied to local businesses. They will give examples of these partnerships in practice in our own communities, as well as, discussing the impacts these partnerships have had on our economy and solid business growth.
