Advisory Boards for CEOs
CEOs of mid-sized companies have challenges, opportunities and solutions that are different than larger companies. Often, they need to seek outside advisory services and often find it a very lonely place to be when looking for advice, especially when they don’t have the internal resources or the independent, outside relationships that are needed to bounce ideas off of and gain insights into how to tackle issues that are outside of their current sphere of connections. A Peer or Professional Services Advisory Board can provide informed guidance and serve as a tremendous ally in the quest for superior enterprise management and execution on a business plan. They can provide access to experienced, high-caliber advice can greatly increase an organization’s success.
What are the differences? What should a CEO expect from an advisory board? How, as an advisor, can I help clients form a board or help them assess Peer Advisory opportunities? How, as a CEO can I better understand the process and importance of aligning my company with an effective and motivated advisory board to help weather the storms and exceed your goals.
