Erinn Murphy is a managing director leading consumer equity capital markets for Piper Sandler, starting this role in March 2022.
Murphy started her career at Piper Sandler in January 2005 as an equity research analyst within the consumer sector. Over the last decade, she was a top-ranked senior research analyst covering global lifestyle brands and led the firm’s “Taking Stock With Teens” research. In 2013, she was recognized by Institutional Investor as a “Rising Star” on the All-American Research Team. From 2009-2011, she spent two years at ExxonMobil in their gas & power marketing group before returning to Piper Sandler. Murphy cares deeply about social issues and co-leads the Piper Sandler Women’s Network. She was raised in the Middle East and has a strong affinity for languages with competencies in both French and Arabic.
Murphy holds a bachelor's degree in economics and French from Calvin College.
