Ilan Yehros (our moderator) serves as SVP of PNC Business Credit.  He is responsible for new business in the Los Angeles area.  Ilan joined PNC Business Credit’s Western Region in 1999 as a business development officer and has over 20 years of experience in leveraged transactions in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, growth financings and restructurings in multiple industries.  He served as a Managing Director of Steel City Capital Funding as well as Western Region Marketing Manager of PNC Business Credit.  Prior to joining PNC Business Credit, he was at Yehros Partners and provided advisory, strategic, consulting and capital raising services to several small and entrepreneurial companies.  Ilan has also worked at Heller Financial and BankAmerica Business Credit where he was responsible for business development and new business.  Ilan is a native of Israel, where he served in the military.  He received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BA from York University in Toronto, Canada.

Michael Hooks is the Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Westhook Capital. Michael served as Managing Director of Black Canyon Capital and joined the firm on September 1, 2004. Prior to this, he served as a Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner at Black Canyon Capital. Prior to this, he served as the Co-Head of Investment Banking Department of Credit Suisse, Inc. where he was leading a group of approximately 100 professionals. Prior to this, he served as a Managing Director of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Michael began his career in the Beverly Hills office of Drexel Burnham Lambert. He is specialized in complex financings, restructurings and other advisory assignments, with a strong expertise in leveraged finance. His experience spans a wide variety of industries, including media, retail, healthcare, consumer products, industrial services, hospitality and basic manufacturing. He serves as the Chairman of the Board at Malibu Boats, Inc. since February 5, 2014. He serves as a Director of Grenax Broadcasting, Saunders & Associates, Logan's Roadhouse and Malibu Boats. Prior to this, he served on the boards of JDC Healthcare Management, TASI Holdings, Virgin America, Logan's Roadhouse, Saunders & Associates and Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology. He served as a Director of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology, Jefferson Dental Clinics and Switchcraft, Inc. He served as a Director of LRI Holdings, Inc. since December 2006. He holds an M.B.A with distinction from The Wharton School of Business. He holds AB Degree in Economics from Princeton University.

Ryan McCarthy serves as a Co-Founder and Senior Portfolio Manager at Highview Capital. Prior to Highview, Ryan was a Partner at Aurora Resurgence Management Partners, since February 17, 2011. He was a founding team member of the Aurora Resurgence Management Partners and previously served as a Principal and was involved in the investment of equity and debt of middle market companies across a wide variety of industries. Ryan joined Highview Capital in 2007 as a founding member. He was responsible for the origination, evaluation, management and execution of private equity investments, including buyouts, recapitalizations and debt transactions. Previously, he was a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal. Ryan was an analyst of Banc of America Securities Holdings Corporation. While at Alvarez and Marsal, he led turnaround and restructuring engagements and served in numerous interim management roles including the Chief Operating officer, Chief Financial Officer, and the Treasurer. Prior to A&M, Ryan began his career in the energy investment banking division of Bank of America. He held management roles at several companies including Warnaco Group Inc., National Century Financial Enterprises, and Movie Gallery. He is a Director of SIRVA, Inc. since February 2013. Ryan serves as a Director of Alltub, TOPS Parking, and International Cookware Group. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Aurora Resurgence control investments. Ryan has over 16 years of private equity, restructuring, and turnaround experience. He has spent the last 19 years helping transform leading middle market companies through his roles as an owner, investor, operator and management consultant. Ryan focuses primarily on providing strategic, operational and financial leadership to companies undergoing a transition or transformational event. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and attended Boston University's International Business program.

Michel Glouchevitch serves as Managing Director at Riordan, Lewis & Haden. He has 15 years' experience at the firm. Michel was an Executive of Elkay Plastics Co., Inc. He was founder of Triumph Capital Group. Michel rejoined Riordan, Lewis & Haden in 2005, where he served as a Partner from 1988 to 1991, and focuses on business services, healthcare, and government services. From 2000 to 2004, he served as a Managing Director at Westar Capital. Previously, Michel served as a Managing Director at Triumph Capital Group from 1992 to 1999. He served as a General Partner of Riordan Venture Management. He also served at Bank of America Illinois (Continental Bank), Berkeley VC International and Berkeley International Capital Corporation investing later stage development capital in high growth California companies. Michel serves on the Boards of Patient Care America (Patient First) and Total Woman Gym + Spa. His Board Memberships include ElKay Plastics, for two decades; TransTechnology, Tiernan Communications, Riordan, DCRX Infusion, Lewis & Haden, Radyne Corporation, and Blue Wolf Group. He served as a Director of One Industries Corp., Tiernan Radyne ComStream, Inc., Creative Circle, Precision Components,  Gentherm Incorporated (Amerigon), Tutor Time Learning Centers, Logisticare Solutions, Fitness Holdings, REMEC Components, Behr Process Corporation, Enviroworks, Endar Corporation, Eurotherm,  (Eurotherm Control, Inc)., Store of Knowledge, Breeze-Eastern Corporation, Paragon Financial Corp., SensorMedics Corporation, Amperif Corporation, and Action Instruments. He has been in the private equity industry for over 33 years. Michel received an M.B.A from Hautes Etudes Commerciales and a B.A in Political Science in 1977 from Swarthmore College.

 

Patrick Maciariello has been Partner at The Compass Group since May 2005. Pat joined The Compass Group on June 1, 2005 as a VP. His responsibilities include screening new investment opportunities, transaction execution and working with portfolio companies. Pat works on all facets of the deal process including building relationships with investment banks and intermediaries, evaluating new potential subsidiary companies and when appropriate, negotiating directly with sellers and their advisors. Prior to this, he was with UBS and Deloitte & Touche. Pat served as a Management Consultant at Bain & Company Inc., providing consulting services to both corporate and private equity clients. He also served as an Investment Banker in the business services investment banking group at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown. Pat serves as the Chairman of 5.11 Tactical, SternoCandleLamp Holdings, and Fresh Hemp Foods, LTD. He serves as a director for a number of other companies, including Advanced Circuits, Inc.; The Ergo Baby Carrier, Inc.; Tridien Medical, Inc.; Fox Racing Shox; Halo Branded Solutions, Inc.; and KBell Holdings, Inc. He is also on the Board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Orange County. Pat served as a Director of Fox Factory Holding Corp. until April 11, 2013. He holds an M.B.A from Columbia University where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and a B.B.A., cum laude, from The University of Notre Dame.
