Northrop Grumman to Buy Orbital ATK for $7.8 Billion
Northrop Grumman Corp. is expected to acquire Orbital ATK Inc. for $7.8 billion in cash, the Los Angeles Times reports. The deal for the aerospace and defense firm would boost Northrop’s presence in the space and missile business. The deal is still subject to regulatory and shareholder approval, and if approved, is expected to close in the first half of 2018.
