Aon's Dave Beckett named ACG Kentucky membership chair

LOUISVILLE - Dave Beckett, an insurance/risk executive who has served ACG Cincinnati in several capacities since 2006, has a new home in Louisville and a new role at ACG Kentucky — member of the executive committee and membership chair.

Beckett, who moved to Louisville in 2021, works in Commercial Risk and Health Solutions client development for Aon. He helps senior executives, risk managers and HR professionals address corporate challenges involving commercial risk, health solutions, retirement, reinsurance and  analytics.

“I’m honored to work as part of ACG Kentucky's leadership team to demonstrate how ACG membership helps build business relationships for private equity and investment banking professionals, corporate executives and M&A advisors,” Beckett said.

An ACG Cincinnati member since 2006, Dave co-chaired the Membership Committee in 2015-16 after serving on the committee for three years. He was actively involved in the chapter’s DealMaker awards as well as in presenting Health Care updates to ACG’s CFO Roundtables in 2019 and 2020 and later this year.

Prior to joining Aon, Dave served Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana clients for 15 years in consulting, outsourcing and insurance. Prior to consulting, Dave worked with large employers in Benefit Administration. Dave spent the first decade of his career with insurance companies in medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefit programs.

A graduate of the Farmer School of Business at Miami University with a B. S. in Finance, Dave  earned the prestigious Certified Employee Benefits (CEBS) Designation in 1996, a partnership between the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists and the Wharton School. He has maintained Fellowship status in the Society for the past 15 years.
