NASHVILLE and LOUISVILLE (May 21, 2020) -- After carefully considering its options, the steering committee for the Mid-South ACG Capital Connection has cancelled its 2020 event, which had been scheduled for June 16-17 at the Nashville Omni Hotel and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Co-produced by the Tennessee and Kentucky chapters of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the event brings together hundreds of private equity professionals, investment bankers, service professionals and business owners focusing on investment capital and corporate growth needs. Nashville and Louisville alternately host the conference.
"Given the health circumstances affecting public gatherings such as this and the economic disruptions that COVID-19 has brought, we felt cancelling this year's event is the most prudent decision," said Jim Dickson, chair of the 2020 Mid-South ACG Capital Connection.
The Omni has cancelled reservations for the ACG block of rooms, and refunds of registration fees for attendees are complete. Sponsors of the Nashville event can opt to have their payment returned or shift their sponsorship forward to 2021.
Plans are moving ahead for the 2021 Mid-South event, scheduled for June 16-18, 2021 in Louisville at the renovated Downtown Marriott and Churchill Downs. The conference returns to Nashville in June 2022.
