Mindy Sunderland honored as of 18 'Business Women First' leaders
ACG Kentucky member Mindy Sunderland, with the Louisville law firm Morgan Pottinger McGarvey, was named to Business First's 2020 class of Enterprising Women honorees. Also honored was One Southern Indiana's CEO Wendy Dant Chesser, a former ACG Kentucky board member.
Managing director for the last 3 years of her 17 years at the firm, Sunderland concentrates on banking and finance law, loan workouts, bankruptcy, commercial litigation and commercial real estate. She is a shareholder, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and chair of the Marketing Committee.
Sunderland tells Business First she's spent her career in male-dominated positions and industries, and is inspired by women "who have successfully confronted these same challenges."
She attended the University of Kentucky College of Law and earned an undergraduate degree from Transylvania University.
