At High Alpha, Eric focuses exclusively on early-stage Software as a Service (SaaS) enterprise start-ups and helping them scale. Eric, along with his business partners, have started and/or invested in 20+ software companies in the past two years, including market-leading companies like Lessonly, Sigstr, Zylo, Doxly, Drone Deploy, and TinyPulse.
Prior to High Alpha, Eric served as CEO and Founder of iGoDigital, the leading provider of predictive intelligence software for retail. Eric led iGoDigital from inception through its acquisition by ExactTarget, now Salesforce (NYSE: CRM), in 2012. After the acquisition, Eric led Salesforce’s Predictive Intelligence business, where he oversaw the development and growth of Salesforce’s artificial intelligence and data science initiatives.
Prior to Salesforce and iGoDigital, Eric was the co-founder of two highly successful technology companies - Batteries.com and Technuity. Both companies were acquired by Audiovox (NYSE: VOXX) in 2007.
Eric is heavily influential in the Indianapolis and national startup community, working with entrepreneurs at all stages and is a co-founder of The Speakeasy, Indy’s premier co-working space. In addition, Eric serves on a number of nonprofit boards in the community, including Indiana University’s School of Informatics and Cathedral High School.
Eric lives in Indianapolis with his wife and three children.
