The Importance of Quality of Earnings Due Diligence in Mergers and Acquisitions

Both buyer and sellers of companies, investment bankers and lenders are increasingly relying on “Q of E” analysis to aid in the successful closure of M/A transactions.  Performed by financial due diligence specialist, “Q of E” is confirmatory financial due diligence that drills into trends surrounding a seller’s revenues, customers/concentration, products/services, and expenses in addition to working capital analysis and a review of the assets and liabilities tax compliance analysis that are to be acquired.
