Join ACG Detroit for an engaging conversation led by a panel that includes Inspire & Ignite Women’s Forum honorees. Moderated by Maria Duey, the panel will discuss leadership at every level, including how to build and maintain your network, raising your profile in the community, vulnerability in the workplace, your first management role, and how to decide when to move up or move on.

Hear from a panel of experienced professionals with visionary leadership who have inspired their peers, as well as the next generation. They've made an impact within their organizations as well as their communities. This group of women have made significant contributions to Detroit’s middle market community. Terrah has not only achieved a remarkable career trajectory but has also demonstrated unwavering dedication to fostering growth and mentorship within JP Morgan Chase and beyond.

Elyssa Kozak is a Private Banker with J.P. Morgan's Private Bank, specializing in working with private business owners and corporate executives. She provides comprehensive financial advice on investment management, financial planning, charitable giving strategies, and pre-transaction planning. Elyssa joined J.P. Morgan 9 years ago and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their financial goals through personalized and thoughtful advice.

In addition to her role as a Banker, Elyssa serves as the Early Career Manager for Michigan's Private Bank, where she is responsible for coaching and developing the next generation of Analysts and Associates. Elyssa earned both her BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. She is also actively involved in her community, serving on the board of Michigan Humane Leaders and the J.P. Morgan Chase Volunteer Leadership Board for the State of Michigan.

Antonia Giles is a Corporate Finance Associate at Dykema. She works with clients in a variety of sectors, but her top priority in any transaction is making sure that the deal gets done, whether that is by flagging issues that come up during due diligence, counseling on potential risks, or working with the team to finalize transaction documents. She serves on the ACG Detroit Board of Directors and is currently the NextGen Committee Chair. Antonia also serves on the executive board of the Detroit Bar Association Barristers. She displays remarkable determination and professionalism, setting a high standard for the next generation.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Maria Duey has over 20 years of experience as a financial executive in publicly traded global manufacturing companies, including Masco Corporation and Horizon Global. She has held senior roles in Corporate Development driving M&A growth, structuring over 20 deals with values ranging from $2 million to $1 billion, and in Investor Relations. Maria has extensive experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, including post-IPO.

Maria sits on the board of Hooker Furnishings, a publicly traded (NASDAQ: HOFT) designer, manufacturer and importer of furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets. She is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Leonine Advisory, a consulting firm specializing in strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions for middle-market companies. Ms. Duey holds an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA from Michigan State University.
