Our panelists will help us cover crucial deal considerations such as acquisition strategy, deal sourcing, exit rationale, deal timing, partner selection, and the often forgotten keys that lead to a successful transaction.

Steve is a Partner and Investment Committee Chairman of TRP. Steve joined TRP in 1998 and is primarily responsible for deal sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio management. Prior to his work at TRP, Steve worked as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Merrill Lynch. Steve currently serves on the Board of Directors of Endurance Vehicle Services, Jax Kar Wash, GenOx Transportation, Lifted Trucks, and DTI.

Steve earned a BS in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University and his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Chris has more than 20 years of financial advisory, commercial banking and private capital experience, spanning a broad range of industries and transaction types with a primary focus on middle market companies.

Immediately prior to joining Peninsula Capital Partners, Chris was a Vice President at BMO Harris Bank in Chicago. At BMO Chris executed both asset-based and cash flow loans in support of middle-market and large corporate borrowers in connection with leveraged transactions and relationship lending. Before BMO, Chris was an Analyst with a Chicago-based boutique investment bank Cochran Caronia Waller where he focused on M&A advisory and valuation services. Chris started his career with Bank One in Detroit and completed the Bank’s credit training program.

Director, Senior Legal Counsel - Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate

Heather Schroder is a Director and Senior Legal Counsel for Robert Bosch LLC. Ms. Schroder is based out of Robert Bosch GmbH’s North American headquarters in Detroit, Michigan, and serves as the M&A and Corporate legal team leader for North America. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing all cross-border M&A activities into and out of the U.S. and Canada.  A New York native, prior to joining Bosch in 2014, Ms. Schroder was Senior Corporate Counsel at ATMI, Inc., a publicly-traded, semiconductor company in Connecticut (acquired by Entegris Inc. in 2014); prior to working in-house, Ms. Schroder worked as a Corporate Law Associate in private practice in New York City. Ms. Schroder is admitted to the bars of New York, Connecticut, and Michigan. She is on the Board of Advisors for Syracuse University College of Law, the Chair of the Academy Fund of Grosse Pointe Academy for 2023-2024, and serves on the Art & Architecture Committee at the Detroit Athletic Club.

Kim is a producer at Aon. Prior to joining Aon in 2014, Kim owned a benefits and property & casualty agency since 1996. She has 25 years of commercial experience across Property Casualty and Health. Kim started her career at General Motors in finance and strategic planning. As a strategic relationship leader, Kim's responsibilities include ensuring access to resources and emerging solutions.

Kim earned an MBA degree from University of Detroit and an undergraduate business degree from the University of Michigan. She also attended the Wharton Executive Education Program.
