Mr. Sutton is responsible for originating, structuring, and driving buyout and recapitalization transactions as well as portfolio management. He is a current member of the Board of Directors of Kivu Holdings, LLC, and chairman of the Board of Directors of Ocean Tomo. He a past member of the Board of Directors of Kobelt Manufacturing Co. Ltd, AUC Holdings Corp, RailPros Holdings, LLC as well as a home healthcare company.
Prior to joining Bow River Capital in 2013, he worked as an Investment Analyst at Mariner Real Estate Management, an opportunistic real estate private equity firm. At Mariner, Mr. Sutton helped originate, underwrite, and structure $150MM in executed transactions with investments ranging from distressed real estate debt pools, to commercial mortgage-backed securities as well as development opportunities. Prior to that, he served as an Investment Analyst at Resource Land Holdings.
Mr. Sutton holds an MBA with an emphasis in Finance and a BS in International Business, both from the University of Colorado. Mr. Sutton is also a CFA Charterholder. Mr. Sutton serves on the Board of Directors of Young Americans Center for Financial Education.
