Brad Elliott

January 2024, Equity Partner and EVP, Faris Machinery.  Brad joined Faris Machinery’s leadership team on 1/1/2024, as a minority owner, overseeing Sales and Finance.  Plans are in place for him to be majority owner in 2025.     

Brad has been an advisor of Faris’ President and majority shareholder, Giles Poulson, and the Faris leadership team for more than a decade.  Faris’ commitment to strong relationships, service and quality aligns perfectly with Elliott’s core values.

Beyond Faris, Elliott’s leadership extends to his role as President Emeritus for the Board for the Association for Corporate Growth’s Denver Chapter and as Board Treasurer for the Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin’s Denver Sous-Commanderie. His extensive board experience includes tenures at Peak-to-Peak Charter School, Western Energy Alliance, and Denver Venture School Advisory Board.

Previously, Brad served as a Senior Vice President at CAC Specialty, where he worked with Public and Private companies and their sponsors.  He delivered unique insurance solutions that helped his clients facilitate the execution of strategic priorities, increase capital efficiency, and significantly reduce costs.  Brad’s services included advising his clients on M&A, project design, contractual risk allocation, risk transfer solutions, structured finance, and alternative risk transfer design.  He brokered construction and operational insurance for companies with complex risks. 

Before joining CAC, Mr. Elliott held similar roles with McGriff Seibels & Williams, where he designed and placed complex risk transfer solutions for his clients and as Vice President with Wells Fargo, where he managed a portfolio of clients with a focus on Corporate & Investment Banking.  Brad has expertise in underwriting an origination of corporate credit facilities, with specific emphasis on non-investment grade and lead tier relationships. 

Prior to starting his financial services career in 2005, Brad was a senior engineer leading product development programs in the medical device industry.  His leadership efforts resulted in seven new product launches with more than $100 million in sales.  Brad is named on four patents for new medical devices.

Brad began his career as a combat engineer platoon leader for the U.S. Army on active duty for two years at Fort Hood, Texas in the 2nd Armor and 4th Infantry Divisions.  Subsequently, he served for four years as a horizontal construction platoon leader and as a vertical construction detachment commander for the Indiana Army National Guard.

Brad holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Colorado, and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Marquette University.
