Rich Karlgaard, Publisher of Forbes magazine, will be the keynote speaker at the event.

Karlgaard is an entrepreneur-turned-publisher, columnist, author, private investor and board member.  His regular columns in Forbes focus on business growth and development and the trends behind successful companies and regions in our technologically evolving world.  He is a graduate of Stanford and resides in northern California.

In his most recent book, The Soft Edge: Where Great Companies Find Lasting Success, Karlgaard explores why some companies strive for decades, amidst economic volatility and waves of technical disruption.  He interviewed thousands of companies to see what separates the enduring champions from the flash-in-the pans and stragglers.   He discovered that the best companies create an "immune system" whereby creative innovation becomes a natural response to both opportunities and threats.  Karlgaard will share his transformative findings:
