ACG Breakfast - The Outlook for the U.S. Economy
After reasonably strong growth in 2019, the US economy is facing a slowdown in 2020,
perhaps with a quarter of flat or even negative growth. While a recession isstill possible the most likely outcome is slow growth of around 1.6% in 2020.
The presentation will examine the Federal Reserve and monetary policy, the
labor market, the consumer, the manufacturing and housing sectors, and various
indicators which suggest an imminent slowdown.
