It was the height of the Great Depression, yet Albert "Mike" Malley endeavored to achieve his version of the American Dream — to own his own chocolate-making business. Bringing his passion to Northeast Ohio, he opened the first Malley’s Chocolates in 1935.
Today, Malley’s Chocolates is a progressive third generation company with a modern chocolate-making kitchen, factory, and retail store, 23 retail locations, an annual fundraising revenue stream for schools and sports teams, and a robust e-commerce online business.
Join ACG Cleveland as we hear Mike Malley, grandson of the founder and current leader of the company, speak about succession, how a rich history can inform the present, and what the future will hold for this hometown confectioner. He may even bring a few samples!
