Moving Up a Grade: From C (Corp) to B (Corp)

Why You Should Attend:

Moving from a C Corp to a B Corp is somewhat rare in Northeast Ohio, but it is a growing trend. Certified B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corp is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to milk.
 

Scot Lowry, the president and CEO of Fathom, a leading revenue acceleration marketing firm based in Cleveland, will discuss how and why Fathom became a B Corp, the business case for becoming a B Corp, and Fathom’s quest to leverage the next generation of methods and motivations companies are using to create long-term success and positive impact.
