Sep Salimi

Sep has recently joined the Accelerated Growth Tech Banking team at Silicon Valley Bank, where he will be providing growth capital and other non-dilutive financing solutions to high-growth venture backed tech companies in the Northeast, primarily Boston & New York. Prior to joining SVB, Sep held multiple roles at the Commercial Lending division of Cambridge Trust. He spent nearly four years as the lead analyst supporting the entire Commercial Lending division and another two years managing a $500 million middle-market C&I portfolio with a heavy concentration in non-profit, renewable energy, and professional services. Prior to his departure from Cambridge Trust, he oversaw the Innovation Banking loan portfolio and co-led the loan growth initiative for the Innovation Banking Group. Under his leadership, the Innovation Banking loan portfolio grew from approximately $100 million to $200 million without any incurred losses during his tenure. Sep has nearly a decade of experience in commercial lending and financial analysis. He received his MBA in Finance from Anna Maria College and a Certificate in Advanced Management from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Sep resides in Newton, enjoys traveling, hiking, and cooking, and he is a passionate advocate of DEI.
