Scott Healy is an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for building and scaling innovative businesses that disrupt established industries. Over the past 20 years, he has been an executive at 5 Boston-area venture-backed companies, with 1 IPO and 4 exits via acquisition.

For the past 10 years, Scott helped build Care.com, the world’s largest online marketplace for care services, from shortly after the company’s founding through its January 2014 IPO. In addition to Care.com’s consumer marketplace business in the U.S., he has also led the company’s international expansion and diversification into new B2B lines of business, both organically and through acquisition.  He is currently spearheading the growth of the company’s global B2B offerings and payment services.  In addition to Care.com, Scott has been an entrepreneur in residence at venture capital firm Matrix Partners, and has held senior leadership roles at licensed product manufacturer OYO Sports (restructuring and sale), online purchasing marketplace BuyerZone (acquired by Reed Elsevier), digital marketing services provider e-Dialog (acquired by GSI Commerce, then eBay), and customer analytics software company DataSage (acquired by Vignette, now part of OpenText).  Earlier in his career, Scott worked as a brand manager at Unilever and as a consultant at strategy consulting firm Monitor Group.
 
Scott is active in youth sports and advising entrepreneurs and early stage companies. He holds a B.A. with Honors from Williams College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
