Sean Mitchell

Sean began his employee benefits career in 1991 with Great-West Healthcare after receiving a degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia. He joined MMA in September 2004 giving him over 25 years of experience in Employee Benefits. He has managed both fully insured and self-funded employer groups, and his experience includes health and welfare strategic planning, benefit plan design approaches, underwriting and financial analysis, PBM solutions, communication and wellness strategies. Prior to joining Marsh McLennan Agency, Sean worked for over 13 years managing small to midsize employers’ employee benefits plans. Prior to being acquired by Marsh McLennan Agency, Sean joined Strategic Benefit Solutions in 2004 and now serves as Senior Vice President of Employee Benefits. Sean has a B.B.A. degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia.
