Overview
Michael Rodriguez, Chief Financial Officer at Magnolia
If there’s one Texas company that illustrates the phenomenon of rapid, seemingly unstoppable growth, it’s Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia “empire.” From real estate to décor to dining, Magnolia has revitalized Waco, Texas, in a big way over the last several years, and we are thrilled to bring the iconic brand’s CFO, Michael Rodriguez, to our upcoming ACG Central Texas lunch.
Michael will share the story of Magnolia’s growth and development over the years—and it’s a story he calls “a white-knuckle roller coaster ride where, at many points, you let go of the handrail and throw your arms in the air in relinquishment and joy.” In his presentation, Michael, whose financial and operational leadership experience prior to joining the Magnolia team spans a variety of industries, will outline the lessons learned throughout the Magnolia journey, and attendees will learn how to apply these lessons to empower their own business growth.
*NOTE: This event will be held at Fleming’s Steakhouse in downtown Austin (320 E 2nd St. Austin, TX 78704).
Parking: We recommend the Convention Center garage at 201 E 2nd St. (entrances on Brazos & San Jacinto).
