Overview
Body
Mike Hill, CFO at Upland Software, Inc.
Today’s venture capital-backed cloud software market is crowded, there’s
no doubt about it. So what opportunities are there for consolidation of private
companies via public company platforms in that market? There’s no better expert
on the subject than Mike Hill, CFO of Upland Software, Inc.
Upland
Software (Nasdaq: UPLD) is a leading provider of cloud-based Enterprise Work
Management software. Upland's family of applications enables users to manage
their projects, professional workforce, and IT investments; automate
document-intensive business processes; and effectively engage with their
customers, prospects, and community via the web and mobile technologies. With
more than 4,000 customers and over 450,000 users around the world, Upland's
software solutions help customers run their operations smoothly, adapt to
change quickly, and achieve better results every day.
Under Mike’s leadership, Upland filed for IPO in 2014, and has since sought to build a robust family of cloud-based Enterprise Work Management (EWM) applications through strategic acquisitions. They seek best-of-breed products that either expand their presence in existing markets or enable them to broaden the reach of an EWM segment.
We’re thrilled that Mike will be joining us to discuss
this business model and its intricacies. He’ll share insights on consolidation
opportunities, deal sourcing, due diligence, and integration, and he’ll give us
a preview of the future of Upland Software.
