Join us in San Antonio on Tuesday, November 19th, 11:30AM-1PM @ San Antonio Country Club. Our featured speaker will be Mona Helmy, CEO at HELMY Plastic Manufacturing & Industrial Design. This event is being sponsored by Calvetti Ferguson.

Now until 5PM on Wed. November 13th: ACG Member Rate @ $50./Non-Member Rate @ $85. Late Registration Rates begin @ 5:01PM on Wed. November 13th thru 5PM on Mon. November 18th (or until we sell out): ACG Member Rate @ $60./Non-Member Rate @ $95.

Location: San Antonio Country Club at 4100 N. New Braunfels Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78209. Valet parking is available on site and FREE to our lunch attendees; enter on Burr Road.

Attire: Business or Business Casual.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations received in writing to acgasa@acg.org by 5PM on Wednesday, November 13th will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received after 5PM on Wed. November 13th.   

ACG Austin/San Antonio reserves the right to fill open seats at the event venues once the networking period has passed and the official event programming has begun. In rare instances this could mean that registered attendees arriving late will not have a seat readily available upon their arrival. In these instances ACG Austin/San Antonio will work to accommodate the attendee, and if not able to do so to the attendee's satisfaction, ACG Austin/San Antonio will refund their registration fee.

Your registration for this event acts as an audio/video release and includes your permission for ACG Austin/San Antonio to use your image and comments captured on audio, video or photographic formats while attending the event for marketing and promotional purposes.

Mona Helmy serves as the CEO of Helmy Manufacturing. She co-founded the company in 1988 with her late husband Abe and became CEO in 2009 upon his untimely departure. As a B2B custom manufacturer specializing in industrial design, CNC tooling and plastic thermo forming, Helmy serves many industries including medical, food, transportation and industrial. Helmy’s mission is bringing ideas to life and manufacturing solutions.

Mona Helmy has been a behind the scenes artist since childhood. She took her Art public in 2020, establishing Mona Helmy Art.  Mona’s art style is abstract and she loves vivid colors. Her work is inspired by inner feelings, culture and imaginations.

Mona was born in Syria and immigrated to the United States with her family in her adolescence. She attended UTSA and graduated with a BFA in Architecture. San Antonio became home and is a large part of what shaped the business woman and the artist today.

Mona has received many awards including the 2014 San Antonio Business Journal Small Business Award, the 2018 NAWBO Women Business Owner of The Year Award, the 2018 San Antonio North Chamber Manufacturer of The Year Award, the 2018 San Antonio North Chamber Small Business Leader Award, the 2020 San Antonio Manufacturer’s Association Manufacturer of the Year Award, the 2023 Girls Inc Bold Award and she was inducted to The San Antonio Women Hall of Fame in 2020.

Mona was also published in several magazines including: San Antonio Women Magazine, Plastic News, Express News and The San Antonio Business Journal.

Today, in addition to her leadership, Mona volunteers for many organizations and serves on Boards including the San Antonio Manufacturing Association and The San Antonio Women’s Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of SA100 women leaders and the National Association of Women Business Owners.

Mona’s greatest accomplishment in life is her two kids, Sara and Jonathan. She values family and friends and loves to travel.
